Hello! I'm Shana Jackson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with many years of experience working with children, adolescents, individuals and families in the mental health field. I have extensive experience working with children and families involved with social services and dealing with the complexities of the foster care system in Virginia. I am a compassionate, warm and dedicated therapist who is interested in helping individuals and families find their strength, encourage their growth and enhance their personal sense of well-being. My areas of specialty include depression, anxiety, anger, grief and loss, trauma, attachment issues, relationship concerns, parenting/co-parenting and adjustment issues. I employ a variety of therapeutic modalities including EMDR Trained, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness and Creative Therapies in my practice.
