Hiring:

OUTPATIENT THERAPIST

    

Embrace Counseling Services, a group private practice in Roanoke, is looking for part-time and/or full-time Therapists to join our growing group practice. Candidate must be independent, driven, collaborative, and enhance our positive minded group of Therapists. This is a W-2 position. 

Minimum Qualifications Requirements:

Masters Degree in counseling or Social Work. Licensed eligible (i.e. LCSW or LPC) or Active, unrestricted license (i.e. LCSW or LPC) in the Commonwealth of Virginia. A copy of the license must be provided to Embrace Counseling Services.

Full-time Therapist must be available 30 hours a week with the expectation of holding at least 25 client sessions per week (part-time 12-15 client sessions), provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Embrace Counseling Services.

Experience:

· Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience

· Counseling: 2 years (Preferred)

Hours:

Work hours and schedule may vary depending on client and Embrace Counseling Services needs. Hours include some nights and/or weekends.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform      on-site clinical counseling services to clients of Embrace Counseling      Services, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.
  • Regular      and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required.
  • Be      properly licensed-eligible or licensed and abide by all laws, rules,      regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to      the services performed for Embrace Counseling Services.
  • Be      highly responsive to email correspondence
  • Respond      to client’s requests for service or calls within 24 hours whether such      requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc. or through the      Embrace Counseling Services website. Respond to such requests by meeting,      evaluating, and providing services to such clients.
  • Collaborate/communicate      with a client’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, DSS, psychiatrist, school,      etc.) as necessary.
  • Timely      complete written records for each client including, but not limited to:      intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract      notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from      time-to-time by Embrace Counseling Services or third parties in      conjunction with the treatment of the client within a timely fashion      (collaboratively/within 24 hours). Keep client files accurate and up to      date.
  • Charge      and collect payments/copays from clients for services provided consistent      with the policy and rate for such services as established by Embrace      Counseling Services.
  • Attend      mandatory staff meetings and training as directed by Embrace Counseling      Services.
  • Conduct      and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to      maintain and increase the good will and reputation of Embrace Counseling      Services.
  • Be      respectful of and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers.
  • Other      duties which may by assigned by Embrace Counseling Services as deemed      necessary.
